Oliver Frost
Assistant
Oliver joined Maddox Planning as an Assistant following the completion of his BSc in Architecture at the University of Reading. His academic and practical background combines architectural training with a growing expertise in the planning system, particularly in relation to residential development and site-specific design.
He previously spent a year at HAC Designs, a design and build practice, where he gained hands-on experience across the RIBA work stages. This included preparing planning applications, engaging in client meetings, and producing detailed technical drawings. He worked closely with local authorities on issues such as permitted development rights, boundary constraints, and securing planning approvals.
Oliver also gained early experience with Fowlers Architects, where he supported on site visits and contributed to the development of planning-led design solutions, including work on listed buildings and environmentally sensitive sites.
With a detailed understanding of design principles and a strong appreciation for planning policy and development management, Oliver plays a valuable supporting role across a wide range of projects at Maddox Planning.
