Maddox Planning secured planning permission for new sports facilities at St George’s College in Addlestone, Surrey, supporting the expansion and modernisation of the school’s sports provision within its established campus.
The site is located within the Metropolitan Green Belt, meaning that proposals for new development required careful planning justification to demonstrate compliance with national planning policy and to ensure that the openness and character of the Green Belt were preserved.
Working alongside the design team, Maddox Planning advised on planning strategy and prepared the planning application, demonstrating that the proposals represented appropriate development within the Green Belt and would enhance the school’s existing sports infrastructure.
Planning permission was secured for modern sports facilities that support the school’s educational and sporting activities while integrating sensitively within the wider campus landscape.
The project demonstrates Maddox Planning’s expertise in delivering planning applications for community and education infrastructure, particularly where proposals are located within sensitive planning designations such as the Green Belt.
