Adrian Kearley

Adrian is a Consultant to Maddox Planning with more than 20 years’ experience in private planning consultancy. He has particular expertise in the care and later living sector, advising on care homes, specialist residential accommodation and other development proposals where planning strategy needs to respond to complex policy, operational and market considerations.
Alongside project work, Adrian has been closely involved in policy research examining how the planning system can better respond to the changing housing and care needs of an ageing population. His approach is practical and commercially aware, with an emphasis on understanding the operational requirements behind a proposal and coordinating the planning, design and specialist inputs needed to move projects forward.
Over the course of his career, Adrian has advised on a wide range of care and later living schemes and has developed a strong network of planning, design, environmental and legal specialists around this work. This specialist experience allows him to bring together the right expertise for individual projects while maintaining a clear focus on planning strategy and delivery.
