Maddox Planning secured planning permission for the redevelopment of JVC Business Park in the London Borough of Brent to deliver a data centre development.
The project involved the redevelopment of an existing commercial site to provide modern data centre infrastructure within an established urban location. The proposals required a carefully considered planning strategy addressing design quality, operational requirements and the relationship with surrounding development.
Maddox Planning advised on planning strategy and prepared the planning application, demonstrating that the scheme would make effective use of the site while supporting the delivery of critical digital infrastructure within London.
A defining feature of the development is the inclusion of the world’s largest living green wall, creating a significant architectural and environmental feature that contributes to urban greening, biodiversity and improved environmental performance.
Planning permission was secured for a sustainable data centre development that enhances the quality of the site while introducing innovative green infrastructure.
The project demonstrates Maddox Planning’s expertise in securing planning permission for complex commercial and infrastructure developments, including data centres and sustainability-led urban regeneration schemes.
